Jeremy Vine show BBC R2 14 Mar 2013

So on the Jeremy Vine show on BBC Radio 2 today (link below)

...We had Mike Buchanan who is the kinda founder of the new political party I mentioned yesterday “Justice for men and boys (and the women who love them)”. On the show he tried to convince people that there was a genuine case for a political movement focusing on men's rights but, I think, failed miserably. It was an incoherent, stumbling and shambolic performance. Like I said elsewhere on my blog, their whole Income tax argument using the fact that men are better off, to try and demonstrate that men are worse off, is undermined by the fact that it is a classic non-sequitur. In other words, a logical fallacy where the conclusion does not follow from the argument. In opposition we had Laura Bates of the Everyday Sexism Project, being concise, clear, informative and sensible. She nailed it and I think made Buchanan look foolish. She is truly awesome.
